The paranormal, history, folklore, and science blends together in this

very unique Spring conference that is suitable for the entire family.  This

is the only gathering of this sort reportedly ever known to take place on

Mount Hood and this should prove to be both an educational and entertaining

experience.

Mount Hood Ghost Conference:

The “Mount Hood Ghost Conference” features speakers on the paranormal

and investigations about a variety of sites said to be haunted, and this

includes the Shanghai Tunnels, and will also focus on the use of sensitives

or psychics in investigations, ghost hunting on the cheap, and what

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) reveals, including updates on Cascade

Geographic Society’s “Project Ghost”.  There will be workshops on

investigative tools and tactics, the beneficial uses of “Ghost Boxes” in

investigations, a “Ghost Photo Debate:  Real or Not?” and a whole lot more,

including historic cemetery preservation, maintenance, safety, research, and

investigation.  Booths will feature specialty items relating to ghosts and

ghost hunting, and much more, such as exhibits on selective investigations

and equipment that can be used n proving that a site is haunted.

There will be a free storytelling program on both Friday and Saturday

evenings that will feature ghost stories from Mount Hood’s haunted

landscapes, and there will even be a paranormal investigation of a haunted

pioneer village on Saturday night.  And, reaching back into our frontier

past, Buffalo Chili and pioneer biscuits with huckleberry jam will be

available for purchase throughout the conference, beginning at 11 a.m.,

which should help complement the early Spring weather.  In addition, a light

breakfast consisting of pastries and huckleberry coffee will also be on sale

in the early morning hours of “Mount Hood Ghost Conference”.
